What you are buying
Saaf Aag’s BBQ Bag contains compressed sawdust pellet fuel. Charcoal is a different fuel made by carbonising biomass; firewood is sold as pieces of wood. Do not assume that fuels with different shapes or processing behave identically in one grill.
Check the label and the supplier’s product information. Do not use treated, painted or unknown waste wood for cooking. This guide does not establish food-contact certification or suitability for a particular grill.
Compare the whole BBQ session
Check compatible appliances, lighting instructions, storage space and how much fuel you actually use. For a useful personal comparison, record the amount consumed for the same grill and similar cooking tasks rather than comparing one full bag against another.
Saaf Aag’s listed 5 kg bag costs Rs. 350 plus delivery. The delivery total is confirmed before dispatch. We do not list competing fuel prices, guaranteed heat output, smoke reduction or a fixed number of meals per bag.
Keep safety separate from fuel preference
Pellets, charcoal and firewood all require suitable outdoor equipment and active supervision. A fuel choice does not make indoor BBQ safe. Keep fuel dry, follow the grill’s instructions and allow ash to cool completely outdoors.
Frequently asked questions
- Are pellets always cheaper for a BBQ?
- Not necessarily. Actual fuel consumption, the appliance and delivery costs matter. No per-session savings are established here.
- Do pellets automatically earn carbon credits?
- No. Buying or burning a bag is not evidence of issued carbon credits or verified emissions reductions.
