How to store pellet fuel in humid weather

Dry storage is part of preparing for a BBQ. Keep the bag sealed and protected from moisture rather than leaving spare fuel beside the grill or outdoors overnight.

5 kg bag: Rs. 350 plus delivery. Delivery cost, availability, timing and payment are confirmed by our team on WhatsApp before dispatch.

Choose a dry storage place

Store unused, unlit pellets in a dry place away from leaks, rain splash and damp floors. Keep the bag tightly resealed after opening. If using a separate dry container, retain the original product information and keep it away from ignition sources.

Do not store fuel packaging close to a grill, starter or hot ash. Bring out only the fuel needed for loading as directed by the appliance, then return the unused bag to its dry storage place.

Check bags before use

Inspect packaging for tears and signs of moisture. Do not use a wet, torn or wrong bag delivered to you. Contact Saaf Aag on WhatsApp with your request reference and a photo; the remedy is agreed case by case.

Do not try to dry damp fuel in an oven or beside a fire. If you are unsure about the condition of the pellets, ask the supplier before use instead of mixing them into a fresh bag.

Plan quantities around storage

Buy only what you can keep dry. No storage lifetime is specified here because conditions and packaging vary. Check any batch or product instructions rather than relying on a calendar estimate.
